J.P. Hervis is an award-winning broadcast journalist who spent 13 years investigating, reporting, and writing headlining stories. He was the morning anchor at WPBF-TV, the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach, was a general assignment reporter for WSVN-TV, the Fox affiliate in Miami, a reporter/anchor at WLBT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi, and at WBOY-TV, the NBC affiliate in Clarksburg, West Virginia. JP also reported local stories of national importance for CNN and Fox News. He began his career in production at the headquarters of ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut, and as a sports radio host and TV reporter in Gainesville, FL.

Currently, J.P. is the Founder and Operator of Brandstory Communications. The South Florida-based public relations firm represents clients around the country in a variety of industries, including medicine, technology, sports, entertainment, law, consumer goods, hospitality, and nonprofits.

Brandstory Communications was inducted into the Daily Business Review’s “Best of” Hall of Fame (public relations category after it was named to the media outlet’s  “Best of” Top 3 Public Relations Firmthree years in a row (2021, 2020, 20190. He was born and raised in Miami, graduated from the University of Florida, and now lives in Boca Raton with his wife and three blonde sons.
